Role Summary
The Outlet Auditor is responsible for visiting assigned retail outlets to collect accurate outlet and market data to support audits, market intelligence, listing verification, and execution tracking.
Reports to: Field Supervisor / Project Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities
- Visit assigned outlets according to the approved route plan
- Capture accurate outlet information, including:

- Outlet name, location, and contact details
- Product availability and stock status
- New outlet recruitment
- Conduct outlet enumeration, audits, and verification exercises
- Take clear photographic evidence as required
- Submit completed data and reports accurately and on time
- Report on market observations, competitor activity, and key field insights
- Follow all project guidelines and data quality standards
- Escalate challenges or discrepancies encountered in the field
- Maintain professional conduct with outlet owners and supervisors

Required Skills or Experience
- Industry Experience: Retail, FMCG, or field data collection experience is an advantage
- Experience: 0–2 years’ experience in field enumeration, audits, merchandising, or related roles
- Education: Minimum of SHS certificate (Diploma or tertiary education is an advantage)
Skills & Competencies
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use smartphones and data collection applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within assigned locations
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of mobile data collection tools and Microsoft Office is an advantage
