The Horizon Council LBG is a new NGO established to pursue development and governance initiatives in the country. The organisation is currently planning its flagship and maiden project, The Trial Debates, which is a public policy debate program for TV.
A legal secretary is needed in the organising committee for The Trial Debates, to undertake the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Drafting of broadcasting license and other contracts between the organisation and participants and partners of the program.
- Review and advice on all legal documents and documentations needed for the program.
- Liaise with the director for legal affairs and/or other parties to provide legal counsel to the organisation.
- Assist the General Secretary with correspondences and in speaking on behalf of the committee.

Qualifications
- A background in law (LLB or above) is required.
- Experience with media, and intellectual property, law and practice is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
