Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) is a network of private schools in Ghana that aims to provide quality, accessible and affordable education for all children, especially those from low-income and marginalized backgrounds. GNAPS advocates for policies and practices that support and recognize the contribution of private schools to the national development agenda and facilitates the sharing of best practices and innovative solutions among its members and partners to improve the performance and sustainability of private schools in Ghana.

Role Summary

The Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) is seeking a highly qualified Project Lead to coordinate and deliver a national-level education research and advocacy project.

This short-term consultancy will spearhead the implementation of activities tied to GNAPS’s recent Tracer Studies, focusing on alumni micro-grants, national research visibility, and policy advocacy for teacher certification pathways.

This is a full-time on-site role for a ProjectLead /Grant Manager at GNAPS headquarters in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The Project Lead /Grant Manager will be responsible for day-to-day project management tasks

Role Details

  • Contract Duration: 3.5 months
  • Period: 16 Dec 2025 – 30 Mar 2026
  • Location: Accra, Ghana (with regional travel as required)
  • Application Deadline: 10 Dec 2025

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all components of the tracer study implementation and advocacy work
  • Lead M&E processes and submit monthly progress reports to GNAPS and IDPF
  • Support policy dialogues, stakeholder engagements, and research dissemination
  • Provide technical input for communication materials and advocacy strategy
  • Manage committees, selection panels, and field verifications

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Education, Development Studies, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven project management experience (preferably in the education/non-profit sector)
  • Strong skills in M&E, reporting, data management, and grant proposal writing
  • Familiarity with Ghana’s education ecosystem (MoE, NTC, GES, NaSIA)
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
