Experience
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining industry
Other Competencies
- Proven experience in external relations, community engagement, public affairs, or a related field, preferably in extractive industry, corporate or non-profit environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Good understanding of local culture and practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop and execute complex communication and engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of public relations, media relations, government relations, and community engagement best practices and techniques.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driving Licence and proficiency to drive a light vehicle.
