Job Summary
Madamfo Ghana Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Construction Manager to lead major community-based building projects in remote areas of Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines and standards
- Quality & Certification: Assess and certify construction stages for compliance and safety
- Reporting: Prepare progress reports, documentation and material records for management and donors
- Team Supervision: Coordinate on-site personnel, ensuring efficient workflows and safety compliance
- Budget & Procurement: Manage costs, prepare estimates and secure fair pricing for materials and services
- Community Relations: Work closely with local leaders and residents to support inclusive project implementation
- Payroll & Safety: Oversee labour payments and maintain strong health and safety protocols

Qualification Required & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects with stage certification
- Strong skills in MS Word and Excel, AutoCAD knowledge advantageous
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Proven leadership in managing diverse teams
- Adaptability to remote, resource-limited environments
- High integrity, accountability and resilience under pressure
