Communications Intern

The Communications Intern supports the Regional Communications Manager in creating and implementing modern communication strategies that help articulate the strategic narrative of the company, drive engagement, and demonstrate innovation and performance across multitude of channels.

The role requires strong storytelling skills, collaborating with the ideation, development and execution of strategic campaigns tailored to specific functions or group within the region. From organizing engaging events and webcasts to crafting compelling internal communications and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Craft clear and impactful written communications to keep employees informed and engaged, utilizing various channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop innovative campaign ideas that resonate with our audience
  • Support campaign execution, from planning to implementation, ensuring alignment with our overall key performance objectives
  • Coordinate and support events, conferences, and webcasts, providing logistical support and ensuring seamless experience for participants
  • Assist in planning and executing external communications and representation to enhance our brand presence in the industry

Experiences & Exposures

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications, Business, or a related social or art field of study.
  • A recent graduate not more than 2years post-graduation
  • Must have completed National Service (NSS)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms is an added advantage.
  • Experience in creating graphics and videos in Canva or similar platforms is an added advantage.
