Full Job Description - Read Carefully
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Genset Electrician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, installing gensets, and performing routine servicing and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-installation inspections to assess site readiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform electrical installations of gensets, including wiring, panel connections, and load testing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in gensets and control systems.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance on generators and associated electrical systems.
- Repair and replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Genset Electrician (diesel generator industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and genset wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Certification
- HND, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional certification in electrical installation or maintenance is an added advantage.
