Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and qualified Science & Maths Teacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will inspire young learners in Basic School Science and Maths. He/she is directly responsible to the Director, School Operations, and ultimately to the CEO.
We recommend that the candidate reside in Dome, Kwabenya, Haatso, Achimota, or the environs.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Science and Maths teacher, you will be expected to:
- Deliver lessons based on the Ghana Education Service (GES) Basic School Science and Maths Curriculum.
- Teach practical Science and Maths concepts
- Facilitate hands-on Science using innovative practical resources.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and learning activities tailored to the age and ability of learners.
- Manage and maintain Science lab resources and kits.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress.
- Organize programming or Science and Maths clubs, competitions, or exhibitions.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school events and training.
- Serve as a class teacher

Required Skills or Experience
Candidates seeking appointment to this position must:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Diploma in Education with Science and Maths specialization.
- Have at least 2–3 years of classroom teaching experience in Science and Maths (basic school level experience is an advantage).
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and developing young minds in science practicals.
- Ability to simplify complex Science concepts for basic school learners.
- Creative, resourceful, and enthusiastic about hands-on learning.
- Willingness to undergo training or workshops in new technologies.
