Required Skills or Experience
Education Background
- Minimum: Degree in computer science
- Experience: 4+ Years of Experience in ERP and Odoo Development
Technical Expertise
- Python based Odoo development: Deep proficiency in Python, Odoo’s ORM, module architecture, QWeb, XML, JS, SQL, and PostgreSQL are essential.
- Custom Modules & Integrations: Experience designing, developing, and maintaining custom Odoo modules and integrating with third-party systems via REST or XML RPC APIs.
- Front-end & Reporting: Familiarity with front-end technologies—HTML, CSS, JavaScript, QWeb templating, widgets, wizards, and report generation—enables seamless UI customizations.
- Database Mastery: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including query optimization, migrations, indexing, and managing complex database structures.
- Version Control & DevOps: Strong Git experience and familiarity with development pipelines (Docker, CI/CD, Odoo.sh) for smooth deployments and upgrades.

- Team Leadership: Leading a team of developers, mentoring juniors, setting coding standards, and overseeing module lifecycles—from design to maintenance.
- Technical Strategy: Architect solutions, make decisions on scalability, security, and performance engineering, and stay updated with Odoo’s latest advancements.
- Communication & Client Engagement: Effective interaction with stakeholders—functional consultants, business teams, clients—to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
Domain Familiarity & Functional Insight
- ERP Business Knowledge: Strong grasp of workflows in Sales, Inventory, CRM, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, etc.—enabling developers to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Industry Contextual Experience: Knowledge of sector-specific processes (manufacturing, logistics, services) enhances contextual implementation.

- Problem-solving & Debugging: Capable of diagnosing complex bugs, performance issues, and production errors efficiently.
- Quality & Documentation: High attention to detail, code readability, secure development practices, and comprehensive documentation.
- Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving Odoo versions, tools, and best practices.
