We are seeking a dedicated Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive repair, a strong understanding of vehicle systems, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with service advisors and other technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.
Tasks
- Diagnosis: Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repairs: Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components to restore functionality.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Component Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts, such as belts, hoses, spark plugs, and batteries, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Testing: Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper operation and safety, including road tests when necessary.
- Documentation: Record service details, parts used, and labor performed in work orders for accurate customer billing and records.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with service advisors to explain repair needs and provide updates on vehicle status.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to shop safety protocols and proper tool usage.

Requirements
- Must have vast knowledge on vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Must be able to detect vehicle faults and facilitate repairs.
- Minimise vehicle repair cost as much as possible.
- Must have at least 5 years experience in this field and should be able to drive.
