About the job
This is a Part-time, on-site role located in Ejisu for a Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will provide patient care including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and assisting in surgeries. The role also involves educating patients on preventive health care, managing chronic diseases, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Clinical Skills: Conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, assisting in surgeries
- Patient Care Skills: Educating patients on preventive health care and managing chronic diseases
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team and with other healthcare professionals
- Education: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Certification: Valid certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is beneficial
- Commitment: Dedication to serving under-resourced rural communities
