Universal Vision Technologies Company Ltd. is a small-scale business seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Professional Accountant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to manage our financial operations with flexibility and autonomy. We are a forward-thinking company that values work-life balance and results over strict schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and financial records. [Create a system for out-of-office hours/days]
- Payroll Management: Processing employee salaries, ensuring accurate deductions for social security (SSNIT), income tax (PAYE), and providing timely payment.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling the company's bank statements with its financial records to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: tracking inventory levels and costs of our physical goods.
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to provide insights to management on the company's performance, profitability, and liquidity.
- Advisory Services: Providing financial advice to management to support strategic decision-making, such as on investment opportunities, cost-saving measures, and pricing strategies.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budget forecasting and financial analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with Ghanaian financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Professional Accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
