Maximum Joy Foundation is a Ghana-based nonprofit committed to empowering underserved communities through education, mentorship, vocational skills training, sanitary care for girls, and the development of young talent in sports and the arts. We’re launching exciting new initiatives—including an art gallery and youth education summit—and we need passionate volunteers to help us share our story.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and committed Volunteer Photographer & Social Media Manager to help us visually document our programs and manage our digital presence. If you’re passionate about storytelling, social impact, and visual content creation, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Photography
- Attend and photograph Foundation events, community outreach programs, and campaigns
- Edit and organize photos for use on social media, website, and promotional materials

Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Grow our social media following and community engagement
- Collaborate on digital campaigns and storytelling initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in photography and/or digital content creation (even if self-taught)
- Strong social media skills (content planning, posting, engagement)
- Creativity, reliability, and passion for community development
- Access to basic photography gear (a plus but not mandatory)
- Availability to attend key events in Accra occasionally
