We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety. Creativity, efficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences.
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop new recipes and menus.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of meals.
- Manage food cost and minimize waste.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Creativity and passion for food.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with various cuisines (e.g., continental, local, Asian, etc.)
- Menu development and cost control.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergen management.
