ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an IT Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving TAGG’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system operations across all departments. You will troubleshoot technical issues, implement security measures, support system upgrades, and drive digital innovation to enhance efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Offer general IT support to all departments of The Automation Ghana Group (TAGG)
- Be responsible for the administration of the entire IT setup of TAGG.
- Be responsible for administering backups and ensuring the security of the IT setup.
- Provide advice on improving the company’s IT setup
- The employee shall handle IT-related projects/jobs, adhering to agreed procedures and standards. These projects/jobs include, but not limited to, the following
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Replace parts as required
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
- Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
KNOWLEDGE
The IT Executive should have a good knowledge of how software and operating systems work as well as possess excellent knowledge in people management, project management and safety. S/he should have the desire to keep learning and updating his/her knowledge on latest IT trends.
S/he should have knowledge about the organisation, its philosophy, industry, and customers, competitors, etc.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar role
Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are an added advantage.
