Job Summary:
The security team leader is responsible for leading and managing the security guard team to ensure a safe and secure environment. This role focuses on team management, implementing safety policies, and maintaining robust security procedures to protect the organisation’s assets, employees, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the daily operations of the security team
- Assign guard posts and organise deployment based on operational needs
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and order of the premises
- Supervise the attendance, discipline, and performance of guards across both day and night shifts
- Report any irregularities, incidents, or security breaches in a timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments during emergencies or special situations
- Ensure proper shift handovers and maintain accurate records and logs

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security; team leadership experience preferred
- Familiar with patrol operations, post assignments, and incident reporting procedures
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and the ability to respond to emergencies
- Willing to work both day and night shifts as per schedule
- Basic literacy skills for completing reports and checklists
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional on-call availability for emergencies.
- May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs.
