JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a Medical Coder to join our growing team and play a vital role in bridging clinical care with technology. This role involves reviewing clinical documentation and translating healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze clinical statements and documents for coding accuracy.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with coding policies, payer guidelines, and medical standards.
- Support our product team by validating health data models and structures.
- Collaborate with software developers and health professionals to build digital tools that integrate coded data.
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and update internal coding procedures accordingly.
- Participate in product testing, quality audits, and clinical data reviews.
- Identify coding trends or anomalies to support continuous improvement.
- Any other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a BSc in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent credential.
- Minimum 2 years of coding experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or insurance setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathophysiology.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and coding software.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Tech-savvy mindset; experience working with digital health platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
