The Security Officer shall assist the Security Manager in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
The role reports to the Security Manager.
ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
- Patrols industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensures security of doors, windows and gates.
- Answers alarm and investigates disturbances.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintains security of premises.
- Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Performs any other duties assigned

Required Skills or Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- WASSE or Higher Qualification.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Must be able to work shifts.
- Clean criminal background.
- Must be able to physically perform tasks required of the role.
- Knowledge of any type of martial arts a plus.
- Ability to read and write.
