CETECH Ghana’s HVAC & Refrigeration Division is an ambitious, fast-growing HVAC engineering company based in Ghana. We provide innovative and efficient cooling and ventilation solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential sectors across West Africa.
Apart from residential and commercial projects, we embark on industrial retrofit and new installation projects for advanced HVAC systems for factories, medical facilities and warehouses in Ghana and other African countries.
To maintain and strengthen our technical capacity and leadership, we are hiring a skilled full-time Engineer with strong proven experience in industrial/commercial HVAC systems to lead our technical operations and project execution.

Your Role
- Be the engineering backbone of our Commercial & Industrial Projects: You will be the lead HVAC engineer, responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC project design, execution, quality assurance, and system commissioning.
- You’ll play a hands-on role in both field operations and internal capacity development.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and sizing of HVAC systems for commercial & industrial spaces (factories, labs, medical facilities, warehouses, processing rooms).
- Oversee retrofit and new installation of systems including chillers, ducted systems, cold rooms, and humidity control units.
- Conduct cooling load calculations, equipment selection, airflow analysis, and duct layout planning; ensuring consistent temperature control range of -4°C to 25°C ±1°C.
- Supervise and train technicians and junior engineers in best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, maintenance schedules, and performance reports.
- Ensure all systems meet ASHRAE, ISO, and Ghanaian building code standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in HVAC design and installation – at least 2 years in industrial or commercial-scale projects.
Strong command of:
- Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
- VRF/VRV systems
- Ducted splits and AHUs
- Cold room systems (temperature + humidity control)
- Proficient in AutoCAD MEP, HVAC load calculation tools, and Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed.
