Job Description
UMAA is seeking to employ qualified and experienced person to fill the following position. This is an Obuasi-based Fixed Term position with a competitive work roster at its operations in Obuasi. The remuneration package includes an attractive salary and performance-based incentive payments for the right candidate.

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Degree in Surveying, Mine Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Valid Mine Surveyor Certificate of Competency (as per local regulations). Experience Required
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an underground mine surveying.
- Proficiency in survey software (e.g., Surpac, AutoCAD, Deswik).
- Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, ventilation, and ground control principles.
- Competent in using total stations, lidar scanners, and other underground survey equipment.
- Excellent understanding of spatial data, coordinate systems, and geodetic principles.
- Ability to work in confined underground spaces and challenging conditions
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving and operating license, at least B class and can drive SUV underground.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends and on public holidays as operationally required.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.
