We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives within a designated territory or market segment. The primary objective of this role is to achieve maximum sales profitability, drive business growth, and expand market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and increasing market share within the assigned territory.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, sales expertise, and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions to clients.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assess opportunities for and driving new product introductions (mortar & admixtures) across the Group offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets

  • Develop markets for new and existing products to attain revenue targets
  • Analyse growth drivers in the respective markets and align the business to capitalise on opportunities
  • Develop marketing and sales collateral in order to capture targeted market and or/accounts
  • Identify business growth/ promotion platforms around the markets and liaising with the respective internal stake holders to enhance and optimise growth opportunities
  • Manage key accounts relationships to enhance the retention thereof
  • Work with internal stakeholders to align Weber Ghana towards servicing the key accounts to enhance customer service and customer retention
  • Explore business development opportunities with key accounts and execute for attainment of revenue targets
  • Manage key accounts debtors to ensure timely payments
  • Explore opportunities for partnerships with key accounts and ensure implementation for business growth
  • Participate in Habitat platforms and sector platforms to ensure that the business unit broadens SG solutions and offers solutions according to segments/ sectors
  • Craft and drive the implementation of business growth strategies and activities to meet revenue targets (manage business development process of Ghanian markets)
  • Manage systems and processes for acquisition target identification, opportunity mapping and implementation through the Group Business Development function.
  • Manage key accounts relationships and processes to enhance service levels and attain revenue targets

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 7 years’ experience in selling construction products and or related materials, key accounts management and business development
  • Language proficiency in English, French will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of construction industry especially the built environment
  • Knowledge of construction products
  • Thorough understanding of the Ghana and West African market
  • A very high strategic orientation
  • Experience in managing high performing sales team
  • An understanding of project management
  • A great attitude and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Analytical skills to deliver appropriate solutions
  • Previous manufacturing and or heavy engineering background
