Responsibilities of a Paint Mixer:
- To mix automotive paint according to customers specifications and formulas. Have excellent knowledge in measuring and combining different paint pigments, binders, and additives to achieve the desired colour and consistency.
- Keep track of inventory and order new paint as needed.
- Perform routine checks on paint mixtures to ensure quality control.
- Must have an eye for colour accuracy, be physically fit for the job and possess good manual dexterity.
- Have the habit of cleaning and maintaining assigned work equipment
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum certificate should be NVTI or HND (High School certificate with many years of experience can be considered).
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and be agile between the ages of 22 years to a maximum of 35years
- Familiarity with safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Must be a resident in the Greater Accra Region.
- Knowledge of both hand mixing and machine mixing is an added advantage.
