Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, including reviewing and approving payments and claims, managing financial records, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations, overseeing third-party payment accounts, and supporting the finance department in daily operations and audits.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve payment and claim applications, including supplier payments, staff claims, salaries, merchant payments, and other settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and tax regulations.
- Perform cashier duties by disbursing approved payments and managing cash transactions.
- Handle general journal entries and manage vouchers in the finance and accounting system.
- Book all bank transactions into the accounting system and ensure timely and accurate reconciliation between bank balances and cash books.
- Manage end-of-month closing activities and prepare monthly financial reports for internal use.
- Open and manage corporate bank accounts, reconcile bank statements, and maintain effective relationships with banking partners.
- Monitor and manage third-party payment channel accounts, including daily cash balance tracking and account statement reviews.
- Support both internal and external audits by preparing required financial documentation.
- Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management or the finance department
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of auditing, tax filing, and compliance with financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Integrity and a high sense of confidentiality.
