We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consulting Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Officer to join our team of mining support services professionals. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and guidance on safety, health, and environmental matters to clients in the mining industry.
Responsibilities
1. Safety, Health, and Environmental Consulting:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on safety, health, and environmental matters, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental management systems for clients.

2. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in mining operations.
- Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and prevent injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents.
3. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations, including MSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
- Provide guidance on compliance with regulations and industry standards.
4. Training and Development:
- Provide training and development programs for clients on safety, health, and environmental topics.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit reports on safety, health, and environmental matters to clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety, health, and environmental activities.
Qualifications
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science).
- Certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are desirable.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management, with a focus on the mining industry.
- Proven track record of providing expert advice and guidance on safety, health, and environmental matters in the mining industry.

3. Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
