We are the official distributor of LORENTZ and GRUNDFOS pumps.

Job Description

Scope of Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to expand our business reach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, preparing quotations, following up with clients, converting leads into sales, and driving revenue growth. If you have strong technical sales acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for customer engagement, we invite you to join our team and contribute to our sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and evaluating prospects.
  • Generate high-quality leads through cold calling, networking, and sales outreach.
  • Prepare, review, and submit detailed quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Follow up with clients proactively to address queries, negotiate terms, and convert quotations into sales.
  • Negotiate and close deals while addressing customer objections effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a strong project pipeline, tracking opportunities from quotation to delivery.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Establish and nurture long-term client relationships by providing technical support and tailored solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations to consultants, contractors, and end-users.
  • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with the   executives to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance to MEP consultants, plumbers, and contractors on pump selection and specifications.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities and market pricing to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports with performance insights and financial data and submit to your supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM software.
  • Other tasks assigned by management

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Agric/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in selling water pumps, generators, or related industrial products.
  • Valid driver’s license (ability to travel as needed).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software.
  • Technical knowledge of pump systems and water infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions.
