Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and teach French lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school expectations across Key Stages 3 to 5 (including IGCSE and A Level where applicable).
- Develop lesson plans and teaching resources suited to varying proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
- Promote appreciation of Francophone cultures through classroom activities and events.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas.
- Develop students' critical analysis, academic writing, and creative expression in French.
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams.
- Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners.
- Lead literary societies, writing workshops, and drama productions.
- Create engaging and authentic language learning resources, including digital content, multimedia, and real-world materials.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events, including language-themed activities and clubs.
