APPLICATION METHOD
In 2014, a group of young Ghanaian and German started an initiative called Recycle Up! Ghana to tackle the tremendous waste challenges in Ghana and the world through education and empowerment of the youth. The approach is based on a core set of beliefs that young people are the change-makers of the future and that local problems need to be solved by local residents. The goal of Recycle Up! Ghana is to train the youth to be able to identify societal challenges such as plastic waste and to develop local sustainable solutions that contribute to alleviating this problem.
