Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with statutory financial regulations.
- Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers and journals.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Implement and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
