We are seeking an experienced Engineering Stores Officer to efficiently manage our engineering store operations across key locations including Spintex, Nungua, Teshie, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement process and inventory management to ensure that our plants receive the right equipment and materials for uninterrupted operations. A strong background in purchasing, and inventory management within an engineering environment, and proficiency in accounting software (Tally and SAP) are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels across designated locations, ensuring accurate tracking and control of equipment and supplies.
- Procurement: Lead the purchasing process for engineering materials, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
- Software Utilization: Use Tally, SAP, and other accounting software to maintain accurate records and manage financial transactions related to procurement.
- Coordination: Collaborate with plant managers and engineering teams across Spintex, Nungua, Teshie, and nearby areas to understand equipment requirements and align operations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality and performance of equipment, ensuring that purchased items meet the necessary standards and are effectively used in plant operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
