We are seeking to employ a qualified individual to fill the position of Security Supervisor in our organization.
Job Description
Employees, Visitors & Contractors
- Ensure all individuals entering the company’s premises do so under the authority of a valid ID Card with a genuine reason to visit.
- Visually inspect IDs on demand to ensure the holder is in fact the person noted on the ID.
- Enter relevant data about the visitor into the visitor log for each visitor.
- Conducts vehicle searches and where necessary spot search brief cases or other handbag of visitors or employees leaving or entering the company premises to ensure no items or property of the company are taken without the requisite authorization.
- Conducts random alcohol tests on employees where necessary.
- Report violators of policy and procedures for further investigation and action by management.
Delivery Trucks
- Inspect waybills.
- All document/materials (incoming or outgoing) which may pose a security risk when brought into or removed from company facilities should be retained for proper investigation.

CCTv
- Monitor all CCTv’s installed around and within the factory.
- Conducts random checks with IT department in all critical areas per FSMS: In areas such as packaging, butter blocking, Nibs bagging, powder Bagging.
- Immediately prompt the Administrator upon noticing any threat and/or initiate the panic alarm.
- Report any issue which might pose threat to food Safety, Quality, authenticity, and Legality to the Administrator or Quality Manager.
Others
- Ensure that his/her team understand their job description and working instructions.
Required Skills or Experience
Knowledge
The interested candidate should have the following background;
- SSSCE/WASSCE or equivalent with five (5) years minimum experience in similar role
Or
- Diploma in Security Management with two (2) or more years of experience in a similar role
- The candidate should also have a technical background in emergency response procedures and security technology (eg. CCTV etc).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective team management skills
- Risk assessment skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
