Job Description
We are a reputable legal and management consulting firm based in the Labone/Cantonments area which assists public and private sector clients operating in a variety of sectors, including energy, oil and gas, banking, finance, agriculture, and human capital. We have an opening for a lawyer who will ensure that the firm provides sound legal advice and high-quality professional services to its clients. You will also support the firm’s management consulting practice.
This is interesting, diverse and often intense work, which will entail:
- Liaising with Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
- Conferring with clients, policy makers and specialists on technical and non-technical issues.
- Conducting research and providing opinions and counsel regarding business transactions.
- Analyzing and drafting contractual agreements.
- Legislative reviews, interpretation and drafting.
- Preparation, review and drafting of reports.
- Leading negotiations, presentations and meetings.
- Business development and growth of the firm’s client base.

Required Skills or Experience
- Qualified lawyer, with solid post-call track record
- Postgraduate qualifications acquired from recognized tertiary institutions.
- 5 – 8 years’ working experience
- Computer Literacy is essential (Ms Word/Excel, etc)
- Experience in the job requirement areas
- A sharp mind with excellent analytical, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent and proactive team player with a positive attitude
- Astute with a strong leadership orientation.
This is a full-time job, with extra hours on weekdays and some weekends.
