What are we looking for?
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team, ensuring all our Production operations run smoothly without unexpected downtime. In this role, you will oversee the routine and preventative maintenance of our machinery and equipment, making sure that every piece functions at its optimal level. We value leaders who are not only problem-solvers but also have a proactive approach to upholding safety and efficiency within our plant.

What do we expect from the candidate?
The candidate will be part of our Operations teams and mainly work in the maintenance of our blending plants and other equipment within the maintenance facility. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance, Team supervision and training, Coordinating and reporting as well as ensuring safety and compliance to maintenance procedures and policies.
The Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily maintenance operations ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate and schedule routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Manage maintenance personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Identify needs for upgrades and repairs, and initiate improvement projects to increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation of all work performed.
- Collaborate with other departmental heads to align maintenance with overall operational strategies.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and are compliant with industry standards.
If you possess…
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Proven experience with Fertilizer Blending Plant.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of Mechanical, Electronics, plumbing, electrical systems etc.

- Technical background: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Certifications in process or project management methodologies (e.g. CMRP, Lean Six Sigma etc)
- Project management tools: Lean maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Able to lead, motivate, and train a team of technicians.
- Able to assign tasks, schedule shifts, and ensure productivity.
- Capable of managing multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving person: Exceptional ability to analyse complex requirements and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
