What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and talented Warehouse Supervisor to ensure smooth operations, efficient productivity and to manage inventory as well as oversee all warehouse workers

What do we expect from the candidate?
The candidate will be part of our Warehouse Team to oversee daily operations in the facility, help to meet productivity targets through Inventory management, Supervision & Training, Warehouse operations and organization, Logistics & coordination, Reporting & documentation as well as ensuring Safety & compliance with Warehouse operations and procedures.
Your attention to detail and leadership skills will create a safe and organized warehouse environment.
The Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, blending, bagging and shipping products or materials, while ensuring efficient coordination amongst the staff.
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees.
- Managing inventory, which includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Effectively plan and allocate resources in order to meet daily operational requirements, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
- Train, mentor, and provide regular feedback to warehouse staff in order to cultivate their skills and expertise, enabling them to carry out their duties with utmost efficiency.
- Work together with other departments, such as Sales, Finance, to effectively manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Consistently seek out opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and decrease costs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and resolve any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Communicating with management, suppliers, and other departments regarding warehouse activities.
If You Possess
- Bachelor degree/ HND in Logistics & supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role within the Fertilizer Warehouse Environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in using relevant software applications.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Technical background: The ability to operate Warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is an added advantage.
- Operational Competence: Valid driver's license and clean driving record if driving is required for the role.
