The Role Has Two Main Objectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic partnership roadmap to enhance Degas’ footprint in farmer financing, data-driven solutions, and agricultural value chains.
  • Develop strategic alliances to support Degas' expansion beyond financing, embedding the company into multiple stages of the farmer lifecycle, with a launch planned for Q2 2025.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with organisations that can contribute to Degas’ ecosystem expansion, EBITDA margin growth, and ML (Machine Learning) model improvement.
  • Lead high-impact business development initiatives, securing at least one strategic partner by Q4 2026 through a signed contract that improves EBITDA margins.
  • Manage end-to-end partnership execution, including due diligence, legal structuring, and implementation, ensuring long-term success.
  • Align partnerships with Degas’ ML-driven ecosystem, enhancing data feedback loops and external monetization opportunities.
  • Engage in market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential collaboration opportunities in fintech, agribusiness, insurance, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, industry stakeholders, and government entities to facilitate partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnerships.
