A reputable and fast-growing Savings and Loans Company in Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the position of Branch Manager.
Job Summary
Under the general guidance of the Head of Business, oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch. Will be responsible for leading staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of the branch
- Ability to handle branch operators within company standard
- Safeguard all the branch assets in a fixed asset, stocks etc.
- Coordinating the activities of the branch to ensure that they are in line with the strategic plan of the bank
- Manage branch liquidity
- Responsible for business development to generate deposits and increase revenue
- Manage branch loan portfolio
- Authorize payments and daily entries of the branch
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the CEO/Operations Manager

Required Skills or Experience
Education and Experience
- Minimum of First Degree
- MBA from a recognized university as an added advantage
- Part qualification of ICA, ACCA and CIB as an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience of which 2 years serve as a branch manager
Skills and Attributes
- High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
- Ability to inspire, motivate, lead and manage team
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office.
- Proven knowledge of Branch Management, Branch operations and procedures, banking laws, rules and regulations
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Sound independent judgement
