Elidel Prestige Limited's client, a major player in the Oil & Gas industry is poised to expand its activities. To accelerate this vision, applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaians to fill the position of Chief Geophysics Specialist
Job Summary
- The Chief Geophysics Specialist will be responsible for supervising and executing seismic acquisition and processing projects, ensuring data quality and supporting exploration and development efforts
- The role involves analyzing seismic data, rock physics and interpretation while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize asset exploration
- Key duties include evaluating geophysical data, preparing and reviewing project scopes, performing well-to-seismic ties and integrating geophysical datasets with geological models.
- Additionally, the chief geophysics specialist advises on best practices for seismic data acquisition and processing, documents to project results and provides recommendations for management and regulatory agencies

Qualification Required & Experience
- MSc. Degree in Petroleum Geosciences, Geophysics or Geology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geophysical roles, including seismic interpretation, AVO/AVA analysis, rock physics or data processing
- Working knowledge f seismic data applications in unconventional resources and/or carbonate environments
- Expertise in seismic interpretation software such as Petrel, IHS-Kingdom, Landmark, GeoFrame, Jason Geosciences, Hampson-Russell, or RokDoc.
