Job Scope:

The Business Development Executive at Cornerstone Energy Ghana Limited plays a key role in driving business growth and expanding the company's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with clients across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the oil and gas industry and other related sectors in Ghana.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs, and identify potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, including contract discussions, pricing agreements, and service level agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, operations, and finance, to develop proposals and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and management, highlighting the value proposition of CEGL's offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, including pipeline status, sales performance, and market trends.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the oil and gas industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective business strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets and deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship roles, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Salary: GHS 3,000 - 3,500
