Role Description
To work and provide estimated costs of construction projects, working with the engineers to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards. Must have strong organizational and communication skills in order to manage and direct developmental plans.

Job Description
- Site Visitation: Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
- Cost Planning and Management: Estimating and monitoring construction costs from project inception to completion.
- Contract Administration: Preparing contract documents, including bills of quantities, and managing contracts between clients and contractors.
- Tender Analysis: Evaluating and analyzing tenders from contractors.
- Project feasibility: Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of a project.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular financial statements and report.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Affiliation/Accreditation from a recognized professional body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor’s (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
- Between 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Engineering Industry
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Microsoft Software Proficiency
- Ability to use software eg; AutoCAD, BIM, Autodesk quantity takeoff
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Diligent with great attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
