We seek a skilled and experienced Electrician/mechanic and electronics technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in our plastic manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, pumps, and control panels
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs as needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking and replacing fuses, and cleaning electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Required Skills or Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Electrician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, pumps, and control panels
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a plastics manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems
- Certification in electrical safety and arc flash protection
