The Senior Compliance & Risk Associate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax-related risks, and supporting the development and enforcement of internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial integrity. Key responsibilities include identifying and mitigating tax risks while ensuring timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tax Planning & Compliance:
- Assist in the development and execution of tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions. Ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the preparation and timely filing of tax returns.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and advise on their impact to ensure the company remains compliant and takes advantage of any tax-saving opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Multicultural experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Big 4 or equivalent with a focus on tax advisory, planning, and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with advanced Excel skills for tax data analysis and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, indirect taxes, and other relevant tax frameworks.
- Experience with tax compliance processes, including the preparation, filing, and documentation of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with tax reforms and regulatory changes, with the ability to assess their impact on the company’s tax positions.
- Proficiency with financial software (e.g., SAP, Sage).
