As the HR Superintendent for their midstream gas facilities, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating HR operations across multiple sites. You will be responsible for all aspects of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. This is a highly operational role that requires a strategic and structured approach to drive HR initiatives, manage shift schedules, and resolve on-site challenges, including conflict resolution and engagement with local communities and contractors.
You will report directly to the VP of Operations (Midstream) and functionally to the central HR leadership, taking charge of the HR operations that keep their 24/7 facilities running smoothly.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or Psychology (mandatory)
- Master’s degree in Business is a plus
Experience:
- 12+ years in HR, Business Administration, or Organizational Development, with a focus on operational, site-based environments including at least 5+ years in management roles in industrial, midstream, or field-site operations.
- Prior experience managing HR for large, shift-based teams (500+ employees) in facilities operating 24/7 is essential.
- Demonstrated success in handling conflict resolution, community engagement, and social issues on-site
- Background in managing shift schedules, leave administration, and 24/7 operational HR needs
- Experience working in multicultural or international contexts, preferably within West Africa or similar regions
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee data, payroll, and benefits
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and HR process optimization
- Experience with shift scheduling, leave administration, and managing rotational shifts
- Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements in industrial settings
- Competency in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures for large-scale operations
Language skills:
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
Professional skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees, contractors, and local communities
- Strong leadership abilities to manage HR operations autonomously across multiple sites
- Proven conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues tactfully and professionally
- High level of organization and time management to coordinate activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing needs and challenges on-site
