Our mission is to provide a range of financial services responsibly to people at the bottom of the pyramid. BGSL is part of BRAC International Holdings B.V (BIHBV) which operates in seven countries across Africa and Asia.
PURPOSE
The Banking Operations Officer shall support the Banking Operations Department. S/he shall assist in data entry, process transactions, maintain records, and ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company and industry policies and regulations. The scope of responsibility shall span, but not limited to, providing valuable support in data processing.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in organizing and processing data for BGSL and its stakeholders.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity for informed decision-making.
- Supporting front-office functions by providing essential data and services.
- Adhering to data security and privacy measures.
- Support in maintaining effective database required by BGSL and its stakeholders.
- Supporting administrative tasks and document management.
- Assisting other departments for smooth operations.
- Implementing and adhering to operational processes and policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks.
- Support in the preparation and submission of monthly reports on business, operations and other standard reports to management and other relevant departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform relieving duties for Customer Service Unit when required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Required Skills or Experience
EXPERIENCE (Including sector/industry)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking operations.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and regulations.
