JOB PURPOSE
Provide an efficient and professional IT Support service relating to the installation and maintenance of personal computers, related hardware, software, and communication connection repairs with excellent and professional customer service.
JOB SUMMARY
- Support with the design and development of IT applications as well as its maintenance.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Maintain and update systems and networks to ensure users have access to the latest features and safety updates.
- Help users troubleshoot technical issues, such as network issues or questions about system features.
- Set up and activate user accounts for new employees.
- Test, evaluate, and implement new software and hardware, such as new cables or internet providers.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Respond to and resolve help desk queries.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.
- Develop and maintain business websites and applications.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Information Technology/Business Systems Engineering/Computer Networking and Hardware or a related field.
- Certifications such as Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), and Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) will be a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology Management.
- Knowledge of MS Office support and support of Windows-based desktops and server platforms on a corporate network.
- Proven IT support or administration.
