Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Communications, Media and Public Relations to lead our communications strategy and promote the organization’s mission to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication and media strategies to amplify Planet Women GH’s mission and programs.
- Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media engagements and crisis communications.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for print, digital and social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders and the public.
- Act as the organization’s spokesperson when required, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.
- Coordinate and support communications and publicity for Planet Women’s events.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, media or public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing strategic communication plans.
- Proficiency in social media management, content creation and digital marketing tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
