Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Head of Funds Development and Accounts to lead our fundraising and financial management efforts while advancing the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to secure funding from donors, corporate partners and grant-making organizations.
- Identify new funding opportunities and build relationships with potential sponsors and investors.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting and reporting to ensure accountability and transparency in resource management.
- Manage donor relations and ensure timely communication, updates and reporting on the utilization of funds.
- Collaborate with other departments to prepare grant proposals and funding applications aligned with Planet Women GH’s vision.
- Provide leadership in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Fundraising, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, financial management, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in successfully securing funding from donors and corporate sponsors or other means.
- Strong knowledge of financial management systems, IFRS, GAAP and fundraising techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana’s Tax Law.
