ROLE OVERVIEW:

As Marketing and Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding customer acquisition, and implementing Washking’s marketing strategy. You will lead efforts to develop new business models, build partnerships, and ensure that Washking’s Community Throne Advocates Network (CTAN) becomes a strong driver for growth.

This role is designed for someone who is:

  • · A business strategist who can identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • · A results-driven marketer who knows how to attract customers and build a strong brand presence.
  • · An entrepreneurial thinker who sees beyond just selling and wants to build sustainable revenue streams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Key Responsibilities

a) Driving Business Growth & Sales Expansion

  • · Lead revenue growth initiatives by developing and executing high-impact sales and acquisition strategies.
  • · Develop and oversee CTAN & sales reps to ensure they are hitting their lead generation and conversion goals.
  • · Expand Washking’s reach in high-income markets while ensuring underserved communities benefit through strategic pricing and partnerships.

b) Business Development & Commercialization

  • · Develop, test, and scale new business models (e.g., franchise models, smart sanitation adoption).
  • · Launch at least 1 commercial pilot per quarter to drive sustainable revenue.
  • · Secure partnerships that contribute funding, materials, or market expansion opportunities.

c) Marketing & Brand Growth

  • · Implement Washking’s marketing strategy across digital and offline platforms.
  • · Run marketing campaigns that increase engagement by 15% in 6 months.
  • · Develop customer acquisition and retention programs to ensure consistent business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in sales, marketing, or revenue growth roles.
  • Skills: Proven ability to generate revenue, develop partnerships, and execute successful marketing campaigns. Proficiency in sales CRMs, digital marketing tools, and analytics.

COMPENSATION:

  • Earning Potential: Base salary starts at GHS 3,000, with additional performance-based incentives and commissions. Top performers can earn up to GHS 7,000+ per month.
