We are an independent company based in Ghana and owned by A Rocha Ghana, which is a leader in conservation-oriented solutions and part of A Rocha International. We work across various sectors including agriculture, forestry, climate change and natural resource management, delivering services to clients in international development, the private and public sectors.
Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with clients, developing winning proposals, delivering work and report writing.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in ESN’s field of work
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Develop and submit proposals, tenders and bids
- Write reports

Required Skills or Experience

- A first degree and preferably a Master’s in Environment, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 5 years experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the consultancy, environment or related sector.
- Proven track record of success in identifying and securing business opportunities including proposal writing. Experience of working with donors and other international organisations would be an advantage
- Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with the environment, climate change and sustainability agenda
