We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Machine Milling Mechanic/Fitter to join our maintenance team in the plastic industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing lathe machines, milling machines, and other equipment used in the production of plastic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair lathe machines, milling machines, and other equipment used in the production of plastic products.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operation of the facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

Required Skills or Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Milling Mechanic/Fitter in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of lathe machines, milling machines, and other equipment used in plastic production.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC lathe machines, CNC milling machines, and other automated equipment.
- Knowledge of plastic materials and their properties.
- Certification in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
