Job Description
This position secures travel reservations, coordinates visa acquisitions, interacts regularly with diverse customers, and resolves a range of complex travel and documentation problems that span the entire Church Travel office in a responsive and professional manner. It also manages and coordinates events of various sizes. Will always handle sensitive problems and interface with key priesthood leaders, vendors, departments, and management at all levels in the Church.

Responsibilities
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with travel partners.
Your Role:
- Manage events from conception to completion, including budgeting, venue selection, and vendor coordination.
- Plan cost-effective travel itineraries for approved travellers and provide tailored recommendations.
- Coordinate visa procurement processes to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, priesthood leaders, and external vendors.
- Oversee travel bookings for airlines, hotels, trains, and car rentals.
- Support Travel Coordinators, mission offices, and visa agents as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry, including expertise in global visa management systems, reservation platforms, and travel agency booking.
- Fluency in French (mandatory).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong financial, analytical, and information systems skills.
- Management or leadership experience preferably in the Church environment.
- Ability to make sound business decisions.
