Expected Deliverables
- One infographic on the closed season survey findings, translated into English, Fante, Ewe, Nzema, Ga, and Dangme, ready for print and digital use.
- One infographic on the supplemental livelihood program
- One infographic on 2023 fish stock assessment translated into English, Fante, Ewe, Nzema, Ga, and Dangme, ready for print and digital use.
- One infographic on LaBEC initiative, and
- One infographic on SBCC activities
All infographics must be formatted for print and digital dissemination as high-resolution, editable design files for all deliverables. The infographics must be in alignment with USAID branding and marking requirements.
Timeline
- The closed-season infographic should be completed by January 2026, with time allocated for review and translation.
- The 2023 fish stock assessment infographic should be completed by January 2026, with time allocated for review and translation.
- The additional program infographics should be delivered by or before January 2026.
Required Skills or Experience
The successful applicant must:
- Apply design elements, colors, and layouts that are visually appealing and align with GFRA’s branding guidelines and resonate with fishers in low-literacy communities.
- Have a strong background in translating complex scientific information into layman-friendly visual formats.
- Collaborate with GFRA team members to interpret and simplify data from the closed season survey and additional programs.
- Ensure all infographics are culturally and gender-sensitive appropriate visually appealing and translated into the specified local languages where indicated.
- Be well-versed in development communication, particularly in creating materials for rural, low-literacy audiences.
- Demonstrate the ability to produce culturally sensitive, multilingual infographics.
- Provide a portfolio of similar work, demonstrating skills in simplifying complex information for accessible, impactful visuals.
